I loved the earlier books in this series. The author created a world I enjoyed learning more about, and love interests filled with depth and angst, as well as that lovely sexual tension build up to sealing the deal. Somewhere along the way, the author decided to remove that tension from the books. (Religious or something, I don’t know.) Now they have the mental space of adult romance, but with the under 18 filters. And it leaves much to be desired. They kiss passionately. Ok... but the tension is gone. Like, completely. What happened?! Not sure if I can stomach another adult-yet-not-adult G rated romance book from this author.Too bad because I really was enjoying the Alex Craft series, but this was really the last mark against it. I came for romance. ADULT romance with steamy scenes and tension. I got... hints, very bland hints...blah.
Grave Destiny finishes up the story arc that started with the previous book. Both Dugan and Falin are at Alex’s side as they investigate a death in Fairie. This is the six book in the series and Price writes superb urban fantasy. For me I didn’t find this particular book as taunt a suspense/investigation as Price’s previous book plots. It plot happen mostly in Fairie and I missed the interaction Alex normally has with the mortal world, as several established characters were missing in this book.One point I did love is that there is finally movement in Falin and Alex’s relationship. No, I’m not talking about movement between the sheets but real emotional connection. I feel I waited six books for this. Yes, the two have danced around each other and even have fallen in bed, but Death was always in the way. In the last book Death had his shot and his romance with Alex didn’t work.I really hope that this series continues as Price has crafted a world with so many possibilities. She has a number of character secrets I want to see uncovered. The chief among them is who Alex’s father truly is. I want more of Alex fighting crime in Nekros. Yes I would love some sweating sheet sheet time between Falin and Alex.So until then, I’ll sit patiently and wait for the next Alex Craft book.
I have binged through the entire series and they started great and have just gotten better and better with each book. I love the fresh take on the “fae are real†trope and the innovative magic system. Do yourself a favor and enjoy these books.
Tinglies. That's what I got at the end of this book. What a great murder mystery! Lots of action, faerie courts, and oodles of grave magic. And wham! You won't see that ending coming.
This book is better than all the rest. Just like a fine wine these books age wonderfully. I was pulled in with the first chapter and unable to put this book down. When is the next one going to be released? I must know how this ends!!!!!!
This series keeps getting more and more interesting and complex with each new book. I can't wait to see what happens next with Alex and her friends!
This is another great addition to the series and well with the wait. It had all the elements of the series I've long loved and hope we get to see more.
I have really enjoyed the Alex Craft series. Each book just gets better and better than the last one. Wow!

Indeed, a book for the serious upcoming trumpeter. The goal of this book, as Vizzutti conveys it, is to help the aspiring trumpeter quicken his path towards mastering the instrument, ease of play and crossover from playing someone else's compositions to eloquent improvizational skills. From long notes, lip flexibility skill building exercise, to finger power/flexibility exercises, to scale patterns, to tonguing exercises in EVERY key! A must for the serious trumpeter.If you have fallen in love with the trumpet, this is book for you. If you just like to try the trumpet, this is not a book for you. You must have two important elements when trying this method, they are determination, and patience.Good luck!

Pretty much what you’d expect
I love his creative expertise. I have been playing for almost sevent years and I still go to his first two books to bring my ego down to earth. These books are perfect for a beginner or advanced player. Several of my associates still have trouble when, in a lesson, at speed, they suddenly see a G flat, or an A sharp.... his style is innovative and an excellent method for teaching the complete trumpet and its proper use.
Mr. Vizzutti has done a spledid job with Book 1 of his method. Worth the price just for the warmup. For those who don't know much about Allen Vizzuti....He is master trumpet player with much insight to offer both to beginners as well as professionals. Just watch a YouTube video and you will understand his complete control of the trumpet.

About the Author
Dr. Ammar Rayes is a Distinguished Engineer at Cisco Systems focusing on the Technology Strategy for Cisco Services. His current work include IoT, advanced analytics and data security. Previously at Cisco, he led solution teams focusing on mobile wireless, network management NMS/OSS and metro Ethernet. Prior to join Cisco, he was the Director of Traffic Engineering at Bellcore (formally Bell Labs).
Ammar has authored three books, over 100 publications in refereed journals and conferences on advances in software & networking related technologies and over 25 patents. He is the Founding President of the International Society of Service Innovation Professionals, Adjunct Professor at SJSU, Editor-in-Chief of “Advances of Internet of Things” Journal and Editorial Board Member of the European Alliance for Innovation - Industrial Networks and Intelligent Systems. He has served as Associate Editor of ACM Transactions on Internet Technology and Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing Journals, Guest Editor of multiple journals and several IEEE Communication Magazine issues, co-chaired the Frontiers in Service Conference and appeared as Keynote speaker at multiple IEEE and industry Conferences.
At Cisco, Ammar is the founding chair of Cisco Services Research and Cisco Services Patent Council. He received Cisco Chairman’s Choice Award for IoT Excellent Innovation & Execution. Ammar received his BS and MS Degrees in EE from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign, IL, USA and his Ph.D. degree in EE from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, USA where he received the Outstanding Graduate Student Award in Telecommunications.
Samer Salam is a Principal Engineer at Cisco Systems. He focuses on the system and software architecture for networking products in addition to technology incubation. His work covers the areas of Semantic Technologies, Machine Reasoning, IoT Data Management and Analytics, Machine-to-Machine Communication as well as next-generation Layer 2 networking solutions and protocols.
Previously at Cisco, he held multiple technical leadership and software development positions working on Carrier/Metro Ethernet services, OAM, network resiliency, system scalability, software quality, multi-service edge, broadband, MPLS and dial solutions.
He holds over forty-five US and international patents, is author of more than twenty IETF drafts and RFCs, and has authored several articles in telecommunications industry journals. He is also a speaker at CiscoLive, and blogs on networking technology.
He holds an M.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and a B.E. degree in Computer and Communications Engineering, with Distinction, from the American University of Beirut, where he received the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture Dean’s Award for Creative Achievement.
